Post by Sariah Skywalker on Apr 2, 2018 23:32:33 GMT
It had to of been around ten at night. The woman rushed into the darkened room shaking the young child concern setting in the woman’s features. This wasn’t good. Snoke had poisoned her nephews mind and she needed to ensure her children were not in his warpath. If anything she knew she would do anything to protect her children. "Sariah! Sariah sweetheart get up we need to go."
"Five more minutes Momma." The seven year old girl mumbled holding onto the blankets of her bed.
Sariah Madeline Skywalker...get up now!" Mara's voice was frantic. She couldn't let her nephew harm her children if she could help it. Mara cursed under her breath picking her up from the bed she carried her rushing toward the transport. There was only one shot at this. If anything there was no way she was allowing harm to come to her child. The transport wasn't that far the coordinates had already been set. To Leia, her child would be safe with Leia.
The sleepy girl opened her eyes seeing their home in the distance as they moved further from it. "Momma? What's happening? What's going on?" She asked apparently terrified.
"Shhh don't worry you're going to be safe, you're going to be okay." Mara had already grabbed Ben and his bassinet and placed it in the transport before grabbing her daughter. Mara had rushed up the ramp of the transport " Sariah, sweetie you have to promise me to watch over your brother. Can you be a big girl and do that for me?"
She could only give a nod of her head. "yes Momma."
"Stay here you'll be safe here. " Mara could sense him. No She wouldn't allow harm to come to her children. Wasn't it bad enough Luke and her had to wipe Sariah's memory of her younger sister? That they had no choice to send her to Jakku to protect her from Snoke? Mara backed out of the transport " Zelios! Punch it get them out of here! " Mara slammed on the controls before completely jumping out of the ship igniting her old saber from her days as emperors hand. The one she made, that one was left in the bag aboard the transport. For her daughter.
The transport had already lifted up in the air. Sariah looked out the transpirsteel of the transport seeing the battle between the newly made Kylo Ren and her mother. What she witnessed next made a lump form in her throat. “MOM!”
Sariah woke up that same dream. That same memory. The night everything changed. Sitting up on the bed she inhaled. It was something that never left her. How could this memory not stay forever burned into her mind. She watched her cousin murder her mother. Her mother sacrificed herself to ensure her and her brother who just had to take up being a pilot in the resistance. Getting up she knew that the resistance was growing weary. They were running low on rations and it was getting more difficult to stay
in one place with how the First Order was cornering them in. What were they do? Grabbing the saber..her mother’s saber that she was left with after that night, it stayed at her hip. She had to go based on old holos of her grandfather she found teaching a class of younglings of the forms to teach herself. There still had been no word on her father. No word if he was still alive, no way of sensing him it left her frustrated.
Still this situation wasn’t getting better and she sure as hell wasn’t liking the idea of her brother having some hero worship for Poe Dameron either. Sariah knew it wasn’t her place to say anything, she wasn’t his mother. Yet why didn’t her aunt? Sariah already lost her father in a sense, she lost her mother and she refused to lose her baby brother to a fiery death if something went wrong in an x-wing. She shoved her scarlet locks back into a tight ponytail. Hopefully there was some update by now. She knew that for the past fifteen years she’d been under her aunt’s care because Luke Skywalker kriffing vanished. That bit made her angry. How could her father abandoned them? Why did he just did leave like that without any sort of warning didn’t his children mean anything to him? Were they just expandable?
She shook the anger laced thoughts out of her mind. No she shouldn’t be thinking in this manner. It was just a series of unfortunate events that had occurred years ago. Her older cousin had lost and killed his fellow students and her mother. That was why all of this happened! Why she had to have an alias. Hells if the First Order or even Snoke for that matter got word the children of Luke Skywalker lived it would place the entire resistance in grave danger. For now she needed to get things settled she needed to figure out what their next course of action was because honestly they were running out of time and if things didn’t improve she would need to take matters into her own hand and she wasn’t about to show any mercy to her enemies regardless if it was the Jedi way or not, because honestly considering all her training came from the holos she wasn’t exactly considered a Jedi in any form.
