Gaia is a mysterious planet on the outskirts of the Andromeda Galaxy surrounding by something called the "Lifestream." The planet has only recently become a space-faring society and reflects that. It is considered a neutral world. The primary superpower on this planet is the Shin-Ra Company, who has taken advantage of the sudden jump to join the planets that are far more advanced.
